In a unexpected crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden practices and fearsome changes resonate through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a clandestine group.

The mission centers on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Bonus Material

Players who accomplish the mission will receive an exclusive katana alongside numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
